Beautiful IWC watch with original box and warranty booklet signed August 1971. First Swiss quartz movement with 8192 Hz frequency and therefore afluent moving second hand instead of one per second step by step. Only 300 copiesof this model `International` and 300 more for the Da Vinci line were made, but of those also quite a few made in gold so a steel one with bracelet in this complete stateis very rare, max 200 i estimate.
The dial has age related patina with a color that varies from champagne tosalmon-colored depending on the light. Nice 70`s vibe ! Please see the photos as they are part of the description. The original braceletwith all links, is large enough for a wrist of 19 cm. The rectangular case has a diameter of 36mm without the crown and a lug to lug distance of 44mm. It wears slightly larger than a roundcase of the same diameter. Great wrist presence.
The accompanying box has old age damage, on the back the gold paper is torn butthe hinge works and springs fine.
The watch has recently been serviced and runs precise, so far + 1 sec after 3 days and staying stabe. The date has quick set. Thewatch has normal traces of use for its age, the acrylic glass has somescratches but is clear, the case and band have largely retained their originalpolished / brushed pattern.
