Up for sale is my Raven Defender in brass.
The watch has been a good friend but as my collection grows I need to trim the herd - watches are meant to be worn!
A little information on the Raven Defender:Design and General Info: The Raven Defender is a dive watch with inspiration from Pilot's watches.
The Defender features an internal rotating bezel for tracking elapsed time, adjusted by the crown at 2:00.
The time is set by the screw-down crown at 4:00.
All major markings on the watch (hands, dial numerals, minute hashes, triangle on bezel) utilize Super Luminova C3 for a great look in the dark. Everything on the watch has been rounded off and smooth so there are no sharp angles anywhere on the case, crowns or lugs.
The watch is no longer available to purchase at retail.Material: Brass, which will patina beautifully and uniquely over time.
Humidity, oxygen, sweat, salt, and sun all play a part in the aging.
The back of the watch is made out of blasted stainless steel.
Sapphire crystal on the front and rear exhibition case back.Size: 42mm case with 20mm lug widthMovement: Inside the watch you will find the robust and reliable Miyota 9015 mechanical automatic movement. This movement is made by Citizen Japan and has a high beat rate of 28,800 BPH, that translates to 8 ticks per second. The movement is operated by the lower crown at 4:00, it can be hand wound and also features a hacking function for the second hand. The power reserve is 30-40 hours and the rotor is signed with the Raven shield. Water Resistance: 300 meters - it's a dive watch after all!
