Description

Sadly, for sale from my collection, and only for moving and other immediate monetary needs, is my safe queen, rarely worn, Waldan International / Waldan Watches Reference 3986R2, full calendar, moonphase, GMT, chronograph / chronometer acquired new in 2017.
18k Pink Gold Case (appears yellow gold to my eye both in both photos and in hand), with Black Enamel Dial. Applied pink gold arabic markers and matching pink gold hands (all appear yellow gold to me as well).
Interesting note, the printing on the dial states Swiss DNA as opposed to Swiss Made.
Waldan International explains that this speaks to the core of the watch being traditionally Swiss in their watchmaking.
Complications are full calendar (day of week, date, month), GMT, rotating moonphase and chronograph.
The 42mm case as mentioned is 18K solid pink gold. 21mm lug width. The subdials are 30 minute recorder for chronograph at 12, as well as day of the week and month windows, 12 hour recorder for chronograph and moonphase at 6, GMT plus second hand at 9.
Valjoux 7751 automatic winding movement; 25 jewels; bi-directional ball bearing winding rotor; 28,800 vibrations per hour; 42 hour power reserve; incabloc shock absorption; highly polished screws; flat self compensating nivarox hairspring; glucydur balance; 13-1/4 ligne 30mm diameter; 7.9mm thick movement. The bridge is decorated with the cotes de Genève.
Strap is Saddle tan genuine alligator skin strap with white contrast stitching. 18k pink gold signed pin buckle.
Watch is in like new condition and keeps excellent time. Chronograph operates as it should, starts, counts down, stops, and resets to 12 (I leave it set to 27 sec for aesthetics/photos). No service history as it was acquired new in 2017. I haven't measured accuracy but it's never been an issue, as it's a safe Queen and has rarely been worn. Watch comes with the original Waldan box, papers and instruments.
Watch originally retailed for 16.000 on the website (see photo).
Asking $8500 USD, including shipping in the continental US. Venmo and Chase Quickpay/Zelle accepted. PayPal payment accepted, but to be discussed.
*NOT looking for trades, thank you.*
I am a private collector and not a dealer, no returns accepted unless the watch is grossly misrepresented.
