Well, first post here! Figure I'd go ahead and register since I'll be coming around here more often, hopefully soon. Looking to trade my Triumph Street Triple R for a Honda Grom. I have my bike posted for sale with the intent to buy a Grom afterwards but figure somewhere here might be interested in a trade, plus cash in your end.
I'm probably more interested in a 2016+ with minimal mods.
Reason for trading is I don't really have the time I used to have to get up to the mountains, as that ends up being a 4+ hour day. I figure I can spend 30 minutes near the house on the Grom and have almost as much fun. I would love to keep the 675 for the few chances I could ride it or until I have more time in a few years, but there's just no space in my garage for two bikes. I had planned to keep the 675 for the long haul, and I maintained it with that intent as well, so it was taken very good care of.
Here's the details on my Street Triple R:Located in Greenville SCClean title in hand2014 Street Triple ROriginal one owner15,346 milesboth keys and bookletsadult owned/ridden1 track day at very slow pace never crash/laid overgarage kept on battery tendorfull tank of ethanol free gas when not ridden Dec-Febalways kept RPMs low until engine up to tempmostly stock aside from: R&G tank sliders, GIVI tank bag bag mounting ring, EVO Tech tail tidy, Triumph frame slidersDunlop Q3+ has less than 800 miles on itOil/filter change, spark plug change, valve check in spec, and new engine air filter performed recentlyOil/filter changes every 3k milesMechanically the bike is good to go. There are some cosmetic things to point out that are shown in the close up pictures. These are some small chips in the paint on the gas tank, left side rear fender and bottom edge of the seat cover.I was going to do a fresh oil/coolant/brake change but decided to leave that to the new owner since I would want to do those items after buying a used vehicle anyways, even if they were already done recently.
