Selling this stunning piece of horology, a diver tool watch; the Seiko model SBDX013 MarineMaster reference 8L35-00H0 aka Emperor Tuna.
Top Prospex series and a real diver with 1000 wr but strength enough and famous for going further than 4000m until sweep second stops because the saphire touchs the hand bended by the pressure, but without any crack. Just a depth beast with the leading seiko engineering and construction.
Spect are awesome; DLC titanium case, ceramic shroud, saphire, ceramic insert also with lumed 12 triangle mark, and a precise grand seiko non decorated caliber 8L35, beating at 28.800 bph, with 50h of power reserve, hand winding and hacking feature. No word for the best green lumibright that is so powerful to reflects green beneath the cristal as a lantern.
It a coming with full set, seiko OEM rubber strap with titanium DLC buckle and keeper and two extra straps as a gift; an unworn stainless steel PVC bracelet and a PVC black nato.
The watch is In 9/10 condition, scratch and bump free, with perfect saphire, insert, etc. On September 2018 the watch visited the Official Seiko Service because the bezel was not running completely smooth and it was solved. It runs 120cliks with perfect alignment. Unfortunately, one of the shroud screws was very slightly worn (see picture) by the watchmaker (I did not notice at the moment). To solve this Im adding a complete set of seiko OEM shroud screws and let the new owner to decide the replacement. I think it is not necessary, but it is up to you. If you know something about tunas then you will know also about how difficult are those screws to source and how expensive they are.
In regarding size, that is definitively a big watch, but it can be wear in almost any wrist because, despite it measures 48mm in diameter, with no lugs it will not seat in your wrist further than a 42-43mm watch (skx is 48mm lug you lug). Again, with 17mm height, is a tall watch but due to titanium, its weight is limited and it does not feel big-headed.
Adding a Japanese Seiko Catalogue, dated 2018.
Asking 1950 shipped within Europe. Other destinations cost to be agreed. Trying not to accept trades, but if you have a pilot chrono (Speedy pro, IWC 3717 or 3777, Longines Bigeye, or Omega Flightmaster) you can try it with some adjusting up or below.
