In the interest of chasing a grail, Im reluctantly letting go of my big triangle, black dial Sharkmaster 300 with date.
As you probably know if youre reading this, the watch is a dead ringer for the Omega Seamaster 300 166.024, except with a more bulletproof build. The case is a little thicker than the Omega, and the bracelet is much more solid feeling than the 1171. The thick crown tube has a gasket system that is quite robust. The lume can double as a flashlight. The ETA 2824 keeps good time. The illuminated 120-click bezel is flawless. Instead of Bakelite and Hesalite, the bezel and crystal are both sapphire.
In addition, the Sharkmaster has drilled lugs for easy strap changes. Good thing too, because like the Seamaster 300, the Sharkmaster is a strap monster.
This watch is the first version of the Sharkmaster, but I later purchased solid end links from Helson when they were released. I will include both the hollow and solid end links.
Along with the bracelet, the watch comes with box/tube, papers, Helson rubber strap, and strap change tool.
The watch has not been a safe queen, so there are a few love marks here and there (consistent with a daily wearer).
I have attached some older pics of the watch (because whats a WUS post without pics). Newer pics will go up later today or tomorrow.
Asking $675, inclusive of PP fees and trackable shipping insured for the value of the watch. F2F in NYC is also welcome.
Im a long time member of WUS with many transactions done here and one on Omega Forums.
Edit: Arthur the cat regrets that he cannot accompany the watch
